School Teams
D.E.L.T.A. TEAM
DELTA stands for Dedicated Enthusiastic Loyal Teaching Assistant. Members of the D.E.L.T.A. team assist individual students while Grand Master Gorino or Master Sharratt instructs the class. Team members are carefully selected by Grand Master Gorino and Master Sharratt. The team is made up of students who excel in Tae Kwon Do and stand out as leaders among their classmates. They are also very eager to assist other students. The D.E.L.T.A. team receives special training on teaching techniques as well as additional Tae Kwon Do instruction.
JUNIOR LEADER
Younger students can become members of the Junior Leadership team. Members of this team also assist students in classes. Like the D.E.L.T.A. team, Junior Leaders learn teaching techniques and receive additional Tae Kwon Do instruction. They also learn social and professional skills at an early age.
Junior Leaders and D.E.L.T.A. Team members are given the opportunity to learn responsibility and gain leadership skills. Using these invaluable tools, the students not only help contribute to the success of the school, but also become a positive force in their community.
TEAM PIL-SUNG DEMO TEAM
Team Pil-Sung, the Demo Team from Master Gorino’s Tae Kwon-Do is made up of students from Master Gorino’s Tae Kwon-Do of all ages and ranks. Team Pil-Sung exhibits a variety of Tae Kwon-Do techniques, including traditional forms, self- defense, board breaking, weapons, musical forms, and sparring exercises.
Team Pil-Sung has performed at venues all over the country, such as the Erie County Fair, Darien Lake, Walden Galleria, ECC’s Safe and Seen Halloween, various high schools and colleges plus performing for many charity events.. They even opened for “The Who” at Concert for a Cure (Cancer charity event).
