Last December, our Dojang held a Kick-A-Thon to raise money for Cradle Beach Camp. Students gathered pledge money for performing over 500 kicks to raise money for the camp. Cradle Beach Camp services nearly 1000 disadvantaged kids by providing them an opportunity to spend 10 days and nights at camp. These children may be physically or mentally disadvantaged or may be from the inner city and never have a chance to experience something like this. Our efforts raised $6868.00 and every penny went to the camp.
Also in December we held our Annual Deployed Soldiers Gift Drive. For this event, our students and families purchased or acquired gifts for the children of the brave men and women currently deployed. We are pleased to say that we collected enough gifts to give nearly 500 children a little better holiday. It is a very small way to thank those in harms way for making our country safe.
