Our January tournament went off without a hitch! SaBum-Nim was so proud of his students especially all of the Black Belts who not only were excellent competitors but fantastic judges and assistants.
There were many highlights but the new format seemed to please everyone the most.
Also, on 1/29, nine of our students went to the PKC Nationals in Erie, Pa. They returned with 15 trophies and many praises from tournament director, Master John Barton. Congrats to all. You represented us well and received an education that cannot be gotten anywhere else!
On March 5th we will be heading to Charleston, W. Va. for Grandmaster Kang’s tournament. This is the oldest, most traditional tournament available today. Make it a point to attend with SaBum-Nim and his “crew”. Other upcoming tournaments include 4/1 at Master Presti’s in Niagara Falls (an event for 18 years and under) plus Grandmaster Park’s event in Toronto. These are good opportunities to take your TKD out of the dojang and have an awesome time.
An of course we will hold our Invitational Tournament on May 28th. Schools from all over the country will be attending. It is a “MUST” event for our students and will be the best tournament you will ever attend! Pil-Sung!
