On 4/18 & 4/19 Master Gorino’s Pil-Sung Tae Kwon-Do hosted “Buddy Days”. This time there was a theme associated with them: “Break-A-Board/Break-A-Bad Habit”. Our students were allowed to bring a friend or two and help them experience the feeling of taking a martial art class. They were treated to lessons on kicking, punchng, and self defense. They also were able to focus on one of their personal “bad habits” and how to break that habit. Then all students and friends broke boards.
It was our most successful Buddy Days event to date. We had over 250 friends take their first martial art clsss at our dojang. And there were approximately 900 boards (and hopefully bad habits) broken! Everyone learned something about martial arts, themselves and their friends…plus it was a lot of fun. Keep an eye open for the next Buddy Days event. Pil-Sung!
