The Friendship Tournament (12/4/10) was incredible and fun as well. This was the first Friendship Tournament we have held since the year 2000. It was great to see so many people having fun. Parents were added to judging teams and got a great, new perspective on judging. The parents said it was very educational and very exciting. Our Go-Ma were excellent judges as they were allowed to judge our adult Black Belts. They did an excellent job and also commented on how much fun it was.
Students participated in Forms, Weapons, Flag Sparring and Ground Wrestling (Belt-Spin). The idea behind the Friendship Tournament was to compete with each other and not against each other. All participants were obviously enjoying themselves and still performed at a high level of excellence. Those who participated got MAJOR East Coast Champ Points for 2011. We hope to see you at our next In-House tournament on 1/22/11!
