I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of my students and their family members for being a part of my dojang. Together we have been able to forge this “building” into a home of Tae Kwon-Do, learning and friendship. It is difficult to instill discipline and high standards in a world of compromise, and ever lowering expectations. My thanks are not just for coming to my dojang, but for taking an active role in developing yourself (and/or your children) into a better individual, both physically and mentally. I appreciate you allowing me to be your success coach and a big part of your support system.
If you are new to the dojang, you are only beginning to see and feel the awesome effects our martial art program is having on your life. For those of you who have been with me for longer, you KNOW what Tae Kwon-Do has done for you and you will still continue receiving these (and more) benefits every day. I am also thankful for the great feeling I get when I see students becoming better martial artists, and in the process, better people. If I could, just for a moment, put my 6th Degree Black Belt around your waist and let you feel what you will be like as you continue on your journey, you would understand why I am so happy and thankful. I know you’ll find out in time. Until then keep training hard and often. It is what we ARE and not just what we do. Pil-Sung!
